So here is the thing, our communities are not common. We look at one another and we don't think that another person is just like us, because we in our heart of hearts believe that we are different then everyone else.
This may be 100% true. But here is the thing, we have to be able to agree to disagree and remain civil with one another, otherwise, we have no community. If my point of view and your point of view are completely individual and we cannot agree at all we will have to agree to disagree about it and move along. But just because you believe A and I believe B is no reason for me to not help you. We are all part of the community.
As the Temple of Valhalla this is what we strive to do. Help people. As a leader in this Temple it is my job to meet you and find you help, whatever that is. Food, Shelter, Financial Support, spiritual guidance, or knowledge. Because I would expect you as a member of the Temple Community to do the same for someone else, and if you can't help them bring them somewhere they can get help. It is never a perfect system, but if you start with the weakest point in the system or the community and make it strong, you have something to build on. We are warriors, we are strong by our natures. We need to lend that strength to help those that have been forgotten and cast aside to rise and stand.
